trucker with accident looking for a new company

    Hello all please read with an open mind and if you have any helpful advice
    as the title says i'm currently looking for a company that would take a driver with a recent accident and relatively 6 months experience
    and am wondering if anyone here could steer me in the right direction so to speak

    Was this in a commercial vehicle or your personal vehicle? What if any violations are on your MVR?:rr:

    Ticketed for Following too closely? That is pretty serious. It might be tough, but if you don't act like the "last guy" with accidents....(3 of them in 6 months, but they were minor and weren't really HIS fault) you might have to work for a less desirable company for a couple years.

    At least in print just about any OTR company will take you as long as its less than 2 serious accidents in 3 years. good luck.

    UMMMMMMM, How do I say this; No! Not entirely true my friend. There have been situations to where 1 accident in 5 years can get you disqualified! It depends on a lot of factors. Was it a CMV? Was a controlled substance involved? Was this person citied? How is this persons MVR? There are so many other criteria recruiters look at regarding accidents. Each case is evaluated differently.

    no drug or any substance or contributing factors
    nothing else on record
    think of a brand new tile floor and your puppy just came in and forgot home training right in the middle of the floor
