$250 CDL School. Is this a good way to get a CDL?

No, No, I know this guy and they started out in Mckinney Tx. and they only let drivers practice the route once and at 4 am before the test day. He lines-up about 4-5 drivers about twice a week and does this-really no practice at all. They don't help you pass the written test, and you must prove residence in Texas before you do the written. If you listen carefully, he says they provide you with a rental, which means when you get there, it will be $300 or $350 (can't remember) as they have you in a corner when you get there-or turn around and go home.

You could get your CDL this way, but would have to find someone who would be willing to give you at least a couple months behind the wheel and teach you a pre-trip, brakes, and about logs and everything an experienced driver who would concerned about you would teach-although this can be done online also. In sum, its an easy way to get a CDL, but you must drive OTR with an experienced driver no less than 2 months.

 

My second job after just 4 months as a driver was Dollar Tree dedicated at SNI, their stores are in all kinds of weird places, some really easy some a nightmare so we pulled 26',48' & 53' trailers.
Switching up all the time between them I got really good at backing, after a while you just get the hang of them all and it's no problem.

 

Let me ask you this, do you want a doctor to work on you from an accredited school, or the one that went to "Be a Surgeon in less than a week?"

 

Being certified by a medical school has grade requirements. CDL mills never fail anyone. They allow them as many attempts as needed to pass tests.

 

Does this video teach you to double clutch and how to back up. Iv watched many videos and none of them compared to doing it yourself. It very easy to over steer. I was showing new students today all you need to do is hold.the wheel ( with both hands ) and make shore the trailer is straight, nope they kept over steering. I know I did it myself for a while and sometimes I still do. Lol now im great at double clutch but cant float gears to save my life hope.what ever company I go.to lets me double clutch or I may be in trouble

 

That's what's scary, but we're finding out these Driver's Ed schools for teens are getting about as bad anymore.

 

Many accredited CDL mill graduates can't double clutch or back up weeks after graduating.
