Boy things have heated up over last few days and to be honest a lot of the complaints and other issues all BS if the drivers had just been proactive. No safety or idle bonus call, after breakdown send message what will breakdown be. Is Millis perfect no but the fact they were just given the top pay award that few company's get say's a lot and after 13 years and many other company's I agree they do have top pay. Sorry if after 1 year you think worth getting union wages well wont happen and that other company that promises more do they have the miles, equipment, bonus and benefits Millis does I bet not. I was broke down last week for four days and even before I got the truck back was message full pay for down time other company's wait 48 hours and get 75. Fine go take that great paying job but when your head between your legs and broke don't come running back to Millis because you burned your bridges and wont be able to return. Sorry I know business and know company's and learned hard way I thought same long time ago and found out quick. Millis is a company you can build a future with but is all up to you prove yourself and you will go far and have good pay but lazy and ##### and expect things handed to you will fail.

Millis is starting to run there but not good if starting out. Closest school and terminal would be in Ft Worth TX.

wow you people are all nuts. I am done with this forum. i see now why all of the original posters no longer post here. Its turned into a circus. Everyone's case is different. it can be different from OTR to Regional, different between dispatchers, and different between areas you run. In my specific case I live in dayton ohio, run regional out of trenton, and have brad as a dispatcher. I would run any and all miles that i could be given. and when Brad is on vactation or out sick i get tons more miles. I have no communication from Brad other than a one word message on where to go i.e. trenton, or lapel, or streator. And the occasional 10-4 or sometimes just 10. I have run as much as 3500 miles when Brad is on vacation. when he is here i am lucky if i get over 2000. I dont complain about loads. I dont turn down loads. But lately i have been given loads that should have already been delivered. or i get dispatched a load after the time i should have left to make it on time. So i get to the place after driving straight through no stopping even for bathroom breaks and the reciever says hey you are late. Then they make me sit there until everyone else is unloaded. When i first started regional i would get dispatched almost immediately after i sent the macro. sometimes even before. now its 30 min, 45 min, 1 hour later. So either my dispatcher sucks, or freight is slow right now which it shouldnt be and isnt for other companies. I am moving to Akron and asked a simple question to Brad about being able to stay regional after i move and he didnt even want to talk about it. So i found another job. I have had 5 offers and have had to do alot of digging to figure out what company i was going to go with. Now i am happy and looking forward to the move. And no i would never go back to Millis. As with the rest of my life i never take a step backwards. always forwards. Never look back people. Its just like a relationship. Once you leave you never go back.
