Life After Roehl

I was running slow today, 55 thru Indiana with an 11 Foot wide od load, getting passed, felt like old times. Lol

 

I pulled an 11' wide through Virginia, Arkansas, and Louisiana. I had to drive 55, and I hated it. I kept getting passed and it sucks. Even though I usually get passed anyway being governed to 65

So I have decided to go with Ozark. I am scheduled for orientation on the 7th in Memphis.

 

U should start a new thread about ur experiences there.

 

Maybe I should. Lol! Since there isn't too much on here about them. And Dirty Diesel I believe I will be at 65 also. I was hoping for 67. Oh well. Lol!

 

I hear ya haha. I don't mind being slow, I'm driving one of my favorite trucks, so it's all good

Hey guys, haven't posted in awhile but have tried to lurk from time to time. I've been working local delivering parts from Gary to Chrysler Assembly in Belvidere for Rush Trucking. Its been 7 months and the ####tiest job I've EVER had. Been looking for another OTR job for last couple of weeks. A couple of potentials in the works but nothing definite yet. Thought about coming back to Roehl but decided that I don't want to be micro managed again...LOL!

 

Getting ready for college for me...no more driving full time...will do it on a part parttime basis....take it easy guys

 

I drove local for Roehl when I went back to school. It didn't pay that great but they did a good job working around my schedule.

 

Well drivers, I'll be resuming my life on the road next Monday with Decker. I'll be pulling reefer mostly Midwestern to West coast. Drivers there are averaging 3,000 to 3,100 miles a week with average run at 1100 miles. I love long haul!
