Anyone have any idea where a TMC KW day cab I saw at US 20 and Indiana 5 would be running out of? Didn't know of any local gigs anywhere close. Thanks in advance

Riverrat the math, maps am decision making do they train you on that before you take the tests ? Or is it like go with what you know ?
-
They do not. Don't worry too much about the maps. As long as you can show an understanding of them you will be fine. Math and decision making is all in what you know. Basic math skills including the ability to compute percentage will suffice. Decision making,,,,,,, either you have good abilities or you don't.

So I just got a call from the TMC recruiter (Gus) I ave jumped through all the hurdles to get accepted to orientation. I have a couple questions.
I was told they bring in 20 drivers and out of those about 3 make it without getting sent home.. Is this true?
The blood pressure requirement says 159/99 but here in PA it's 140 or below my physical is up to date and below 140 but it fluctuates.. When I go through their physical are they looking for 140 or 159?
As a new guy would you pick percentage or miles? And do they give expensive loads to mile drivers and cheap loads to percentage? How does that work? What is the average pay per load if on percentage? If someone is driving on miles OTR what the average miles?
thank you in advance! -
I just got through orientation here at TMC leave out tomarrow with my trainer. let me give some advice to all of your who are wondering about what it's like. First of all Very Very structured training program with instructors who really do care, great food for lunch no sack lunch cheap crap, GREAT hotel with hot tub and pool sauna ect, weight room. Your best bet here is buying some microwaveable foods and eating that way on the side, Breakfast is 3.18 and worth every dollar. Come here with your Mind ready to LEARN and Progress and you'll do fantastic. UNDERSTAND it's up to YOU to finish this training which is extensive and not easy but then again what in life is easy worth having? You will need to bring work boots for load securement. but recommend tennis shoes for driving feeling the clutch better ect. My time with TMC is just beginning but I feel at home I feel like this company actually cares and wants to see there drivers stay career which is my Intent . I'm #### PROUD to call TMC home. good luck to you all any other questions post them.
