just called the guy a purchased the truck from, he told me that with the truck being turned up as much as it is, (its a 600HP with a Pittsburgh Power Box putting 790HP to the ground) he said its a very high fuel pressure...i have to prime the truck and start it up and then get out and start pumping it back up some more while its idling and it will fix my spitting and sputtering problem. I will try this once it stops raining (think ill need a row boat pretty soon with all this rain in GA), but i will keep everyone informed on what the outcome is. Thanks for everyones help and thanks for the compliments on the truck!

word of advice, ditch the power box. that in itself wont raise fuel pressure. the only way would be to shim the transfer pump spring.

i will be pulling dry vans in the southeast, from what most of the drivers iv talked to say they rarely pull anything over 25K lbs. so it should be light loads.

Sweet looking ride!! She is spec'ed to pull anything you can hitch to. It might be a bit hard on fuel but you will love it in the hills!! If you drive it easy it should get decent mpg and with the nice price your saving on a fat truck payment.

    Have fun with it!!

Thanks for the compliments Bill!! yes she will certainly pull anything i want moved...guy i bought the truck from averaged 6.5-6.8 MPG running it hard so if i drive it like theres an egg in between my foot and the pedal i will get great fuel mileage. I have been warned not to let the pipes sing to me or ill be burning all my fuel thru the pipes lol...but yes she will certainly move!
