Iileagle, no, Stupid, yes. Lots of things are not against the law, but are very very stupid, and dangerous, you pick which you will do. Passing a truck, on the right that's clearly over taking another, when you clearly dont have the room, then brake checking said truck to give your moron buddies room to over take the truck also, IS STUPID!!! Clearly anyone who thinks it isn't should join them, I think they call it "natural selection" cause sooner or later, your gonna die.

Easing over was probably him trying to get them to stop, if he had cut them off, they would be dead. I probably would have faked coming over also just to try to give them warning, they have effectively taken ALL of his outs away, dangerous for him, suicidal for them. I really can't fault him for anything here, sometimes you have to drive a little offensively out here.

This video reminded me of an incident I was involved with. No accidents happened.

I had a similar thing happen a few months back, but not with crotch rockets.

I was driving an empty school bus on a wide two lane road with wide shoulders, enough to park on if needed. Following another school bus we came up to a RR crossing. As we were almost stopped I saw movement in my right mirror. A 4wheeler was attempting to pass both of us on the right at the crossing.

The driver I was following saw it as well and at the last minute turned his bus hard right at the stop. Needles to say the 4wheeler did a nose stand shutting down. It was the highlight of my afternoon! All I heard the other driver say on the radio was "Idiot"! :biggrin_25523:

What makes this so funny, to me as a witness anyway, is that you have to go a bit to the right to see at the crossing anyway as it is at an angle to the road so it is a normal maneuver for this crossing in a school bus.

More than just a dash cam, I'm looking for some way to incorporate a dash cam with side and rear facing cameras. It would be good to be able to record multiple views. It would certainly add some more information to the Biker Idiots video. For any serious situation, like accidents or getting reported for something then having video evidence would really help.
