How much did you make last year?

I love every time we get a new know everything newbie on here....

 

You guys have nice equipment and give a new meaning to pulling doubles.I know you here in the states pull one trl but in Canada ive seen many of you pull 2 53 ft trls.I thought WOW now that's what I call pulling doubles.

 

Actually, I said I grossed "a little over 70K". I made $1440.19 per week. I ran a weekly turn from Detroit to Brownsville, TX. I picked up a loaded trailer in Detroit Monday evening and pulled into Brownsville Wednesday evening. Live unload/load @ 7 A.M. Thursday morning & ran as fast as my governed truck would go (65 mph) to get through Houston before the afternoon rush hour. Dropped my loaded trailer in Detroit mid-afternoon on Saturday.

The company calculated it as a bit under 3,500 miles @ 40 cpm but we are paid vacation pay on a weekly basis, rather than actually receive a paid vacation.

slow year last year, gross was $49,256. First time in 6 years I've grossed less than $50,000. Will probably gross $61K this year.

 

You're making good money.The local jobs here make real good money,excluding mine.I haul swinging meat and Tyson pays my salary.
