I contend that a driver is MOST DANGEROUS at about 4-6 months of driving. That's when you become confident, yet you still haven't polished your skills and you are getting careless with the fundamentals

Actually about 4-5 years, from insurance companies I've spoken to........

People knows to get out and look, common since tells you that. But too many lazy drivers.I have seen more drivers having a heck of a time backing in wasting more energy turning the wheel, pull ups, trying their hardest to back in when all they could have done was spend a few seconds getting their lard ### out and observing the situation.

what is really sad is some drivers will try any park in a spot to small just because it close to the t/s door, yet in the back rows there is a lot of empty spots.

Heh, I would be headed for that far back corner, I have no problems with walking a few more steps and it will be more peacefull there while everyone else is battling for that door side seat.

You're right about him not being a trainer but, in general I don't G.O.A.L.. I do, however, get out to open the doors.

Zeddlar older drivers think like you i see you have been driving 22 years, any more than likely you drove a truck with no power steering it was just easier to hit the back row. b safe out there

I like those drivers. And the ones that pass up a difficult spot and then park in the aisle or by the scale. I usually pull in to the t/s late and am happy they left me a place to park.

You're an optimist. Any time I try to find a quiet corner, some nimrod with a 30-year old reefer pulls in beside me.

ya i like the back row 53 step with a 10 ft spread being pulled by a long nose 379 is not quite the nimbalist of the large road creatures i save that tight stuff for the werners and the swifties i dont mind the excercise

I'll second fisher guy on that one. When you drive a boat you quickly learn the back row is your best friend. I prefer to straight line into a back row spot and the watch the Werner and swiftys do the 90 degree blind aide jack knifes into the spots...its payback for when they pointed an laughed at me trying to get my spread into a tight spot and finally giving up. And going some place else.

I understand goal but know your limits. You know your ability level better than anybody else. If the spot looks to though to get in don't try it just leave it for a more seasoned driver or somebody with less wisdom than yourself.
