Lol yea I have noticed between this thread and his, that he dislikes those who succeed or succeeded during their time at Gordon where he failed. So all those who do well are liars and cheerleaders for Gordon because he couldn't figure out how to do so. Oh well, Im sure he will call me to the carpet as well lol.

Well on that note, my check on Friday will be over $1700 and this week will be around $1000. Some checks are better than others. It is what it is. Like I say, gotta learn how to work.

I would like to see this thread allow for that, moderate the macho cheerleading and point up realistically how long it will take to earn those chops. I still see Gordon as a learning experience that I'm thankful for. Just not the pee-wee pay! But it was, overall, a good experience...
Just not a big 'rah-rah-rah-sis-boom-bah' experience. I could have done a lot worse! I see Gordon as 'one of the best' (good equipment, terriffic driver support, safe place to park CDL) of the worst (lousy short loads, pee-wee pay).
I made more $$ before Gordon (full-time) and I'm making more $$ after. Part-time! -
And another thing. The new HOS aren't all that different. 70 hours/7 days, which most of us followed anyway. A 30 minute break that's mandatory, I take one anyway so it doesn't bother me. 1 reset in 168 hours, once again, I don't reset that often, the only kicker is the 1-5 period. My logs are set to eastern so out west it becomes a little tricky. But over the weekend I got a true 34, ended my break at 34 hours on the button. Your move FMCSA. Lol

Good debate, Gents! I have been following this thread since day one and I love it! Not because I like Gordon, but because I have trendous respect and admiration when someone puts their life on a forum and its awesome to watch them succeed.

You know Victor instead of just crying about the company you should have been getting advice from some of the people that make it work. I think off the bat that you wanted a part time job with a full time company and full time wages.
tow614 Thanks this.
