I thought we had so much fun with "when there is a vehicle at the side of the road" that We Could muster some opinions with this as well.

I see so many drivers who ride in the middle lane aka the truck passing lane. It infuriates me. If you aren't passing, moving over for shoulder clearance, or for merging traffic....please move over.

If there's moderate to heavy incoming traffic and I'm running at average traffic flow speed, (such as in/near a metro area) and I have no need to exit anytime soon, I'm in the middle lane.

Same here, though I do get frustated when some of these trucks wont or cant do the speed limit and wont let the faster trucks by.
The problem with being in the right lane is, if it's a busy section of road meaning vehicles get on and off the highway alot, it's better to stay in the middle lane. But thats mostly in metro and city areas. But some do just ride the center lane because they dont know any better or they are playing on theyre phones.

I don't mind if a few cars want to pass and do so on the right, but if I see a truck coming up in the middle lane behind me, I will try and move right so they can pass in the middle, but if they're flying up the outside lane, they can stay there and pass me on the right for all I care.

I ride in the middle especially in a heavy traffic area. (Chicago) AND if there is a interchange coming up. does 2 things for me. I don't have to worry about trying to get over and if gives me a good way out for the jack ##### that are trying to merge on the freeway. Our trucks are regulated to 65 on the cruise control and on the throttle I can do 68. If you want to risk a ticket going 10 + over that's fine by me but if I can do at least the speed limit I will stay in the middle.

Sometimes I wish this was Germany, where they fine you for not sticking to the right like you should.

i tried riding in the right lane in my 62 mph truck, but kept hitting the rumble strip while i was texting, that in turn made me drop my cheeseburger and when i bent over to pick it up, i spilled my beer, which in turn got my bag of weed all wet....so no more right lane for me:biggrin_25510:
