Stay away from MBM. They are one the worst companies I've ever worked for.

Jayc234: I am sure hoping you are right about Foodservice. I hate the (body) shape I am in from OTR. I am only pacing 45k a year with my current company and 3 years OTR. WELL, McLane and Sysco said no to me, so I applied at MBM. They said yes. I'm just wishing to be paid for my hard work. They will at least do that right? It does concern me that they are AWAYS hiring but, they hired me, a overweight OTR driver. The hiring manager told me most guys like me last a month, that is the main cause of the large turnover. I am hoping that to be the case.

I was your supervisor in Columbus and take a little offense to that...but to each their own. Here is the bottom line on foodservice: IF YOU CAN'T DO THE WORK THEN DON'T BOTHER APPLYING!! I just left my position and will be returning back to the road...yes more foodservice but with SYSCO. For me anyways, I love humping freight up and down a ramp all day long!

Hey bro, I was 270lbs made it a year in foodservice. After a year I was 225lb. First week or two it's tough when your not use to it but your body will adapt to it. It's not that hard of work just pace yourself. If you want to be home and get paid you'll do fine. You'll make over 70k. Their always hiring cause drivers don't want to unload and get overwhelmed with it.

    herring22 and Jerry12 Thank this.

You have to remember most food service drivers are not really drivers at all ,they are "mobile lumpers " with strong backs ,and weak minds !
