    Load of coils 3 on skids 1 loaded suicide all together 32000 the single is 21920lbs what do u guys think I don't move non skidded coils I believe this is no.2 2 stops out of La Porte in going to fort smith are and the single goin to Houston

    I think you need edge protection on the single .... And chains on the skidded .... Just my opinion though

    I rarely used chains on skidded coils. I did however X the straps over the top of them. Needed? don't know, just the way I was taught.

    I personally don't use straps on steel...anything over 10k x chains... Why the moving blanket under the coil? Don't you have rubber mats? For some reason I don't see that blanket being that safe...like it would slide...but im the guy that only puts 4 chains on a 48k coil
