Kevin horn, we get it. You don't like SNI. Please don't troll this thread.

i didn't say that at all.. I'm thinking about going over there.. I'm just trying to get some info.. I keep hearing about how good there choice program is and trying to get some numbers from drivers not a recruiter sitting behind a desk... It's has to be decent cuz there's a lot of people talking good about it.. But no one will come out and say I make around $&$& if I drive 2500 miles.. Just basic info is all I'm looking to get...

If your hearing a bunch of good then it must have some positives, If you want 85% look elsewhere. It is a learning curve on the choice board location in everything. I live in Texas and rarely leave the state and I constantly average over $2 a mile.

Yes your right.. And 2 bucks a mile sounds good.. I just can't see how people are making a living on 1.25 a mile. That's what most companies are trying to pay.. Good to hear your making it..

Lol I hear ya.. The main reason why I would consider SNI is because of there choice program and the size of the company. They have plenty of freight to keep you moving..

You just gotta get in a good freight area and you can do well. I have been here 4 years now and could never go back to being dispatched. Too many drivers chase loads that pay over $1000 but it has a 3 day window and is 900 miles. Those guys net maybe 200-300 a day. I have found if you can run 2 shorter runs a day that pay double per mile as the longer runs you can net $600-$800 a day. Your not chasing miles on the choice board but you are chasing dollars. Most guys just don't get that and they eventually fail.

Week before last I ran 3200 miles......my cut was $1800 and that was even after I filled up on Monday morning (I could have put another $450 or so to the bottom line if I had waited until Tuesday but I knew I was running a good week and I knew I was coming home this week and so this week would be a short one).

I average around $1.50 a mile, and try to keep my deadhead to a minimum. When I say average, it's just that. Last week, $2.29, 494 miles INTO Orlando and $.96 on 375 miles OUT of Orlando......$1492 for 2 days work and an average of $1.72 a mile.

Last week I did $2670 in total revenue.....minus truck, insurance, and taxes $1100.....=$1570......minus fuel $1005 = $575 for the week and I was home by 1500 on Friday and won't leave out again until Monday around 10. Had I stayed out, I could have easily put another $1800 to the bottom line. $800 of that would be eaten up by fuel, so my end would have been in the $1500 range.

There's your "basic info". If you're willing to run and you have your head screwed on straight, you"ll make some serious, serious money. If you're lazy and don't understand the basic concepts of running a small business, better stay on the company driver porch.

Check out my thread http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/schneider/159117-running-with-schneider.html I tell you exactly what I am doing and making. On average I run between 2500 to 3100 miles a week and take home $1200 to $2000. It varies so that might be why you don't get a straight answer and/or some people just don't want to share that info.
