Thanks for the heads up! Are you on the road yet? Don't understand why so many of these commercial truck shops seem to have there heads in the sand when it comes to communicating and time sensitive issues. You have to stay on them that is for sure!

Hope SFI is able to deffer a payment for ya or something!

Curious as to what the problem is with your truck. My company truck does something similar to what you described. That extremely annoying noise that gets louder and quicker the faster you go. Mine has done it from the beginning and nobody can figure out what it is. It doesn't do it all the time and in fact it rarely does it anymore but just a week ago it did it for about an hour.

On my 3rd load for the week heading back on down to Laredo! Imagine that! : ) Started the week in Laredo grabbed a load and went up to Iowa, then deadhead 120 miles up into Wisconsin, P/U drop & hook 6000 lb load and delivered it in Highlands IL. Then deadhead about 30 miles and P/U 1st of 2 part pick up load going to Laredo. Grabbed the second part out of Danville IL about 100 miles from 1st stop. All total this loads weighs about 15000 LB .. sweet!

Beautiful weather up in the north this time of year, loved it!

Great week with light loads and plenty of time. In Arkansas now and will deliver in Laredo on Monday. Total revenue to the truck this week is about $4600. Take home will be about $1800 - $2000. Very grateful! Gotta get the wife some new shoes now:biggrin_25525:

Just depends on the loads sometimes. It seemed I ran hard last week gross revenue to the truck was $3736 take home was $1099. But at the end of the week I sat for about a day trying to find my next set of loads so didn't get to use all the time for that week, but got a good rest period.

    Keep the Wheels Rolling!

Nope not on the road yet :( was told late friday that the part was on back order wont' be here till tuesday the 20th and depending on what the tech that is assigned to my truck is doing at the time then that will decide when my truck gets done.. that is what they said I was like are you for real took you 4 days to tell me that the part was on back order and I would think that when the part comes in my truck would be a prioity.. I spoke with SFI and they are going to have a discussion with SNI and the heads that deal with Frieghtliner and see if they can apply a little pressure from the top from what I was told to get it done and done right ASAP.. SFI also is working with me on the payments said we would figure out how to get them done either defferring or make them up over several weeks once the truck is out.. The timing sucks b/c I need to be back here for first day of school on the 26th and son's bday on the 6th of sept but if I miss anything it will be first day of school. but have to do what you have to put the shoes on their feet and clothes on their back for school ;)

They told me on the 2014 EVO's they have had issues with this and they have found out that it's better to replace the whole def system.. that's what they are doing to mine.. with just 12742 miles on it.. said that they had one come in last week with just 400 miles on it :( .. Plus like in my other post the part was on back order tells me they are doing a lot of these.. Just my thought :) I'm suprised from talking to the service writers and one technician that they haven't done a recall on this. Mine was producing almost triple the heat that it's suppose to from what I was told.. they also replaced my throttle pedal and throttle positioning sensor due to having a check engine light that would come on from time to time when I first start the truck up but as soon as I touched the throttle it would go away.. all of this is crazy to me b/c of only having 12k on the truck but at least it's done now and not after the warrenty right lol..

Yeah! Can you imagine now if you also had to pay to fix the truck! It's not good that you are sitting! But at least you got a new truck with warranty! I ya yiii.. hopefully SNI can light a fire under their ###!

Any suggestions on tractors? I know most people going through Schneider are getting into Cascadias, but what about the Prostars? Don't want to go the Kenworth, Peterbilt or Volvo way as I'm looking for cost effectiveness. Have seriously been considering purchasing a new or "newer" truck and going choice but I keep putting it off. Heard good things about the prostars though.

I'm familiar with Freightliners obviously being a Schneider driver. But with all of the horror stories about the new Cascadias it makes one wonder LOL.

Been getting good miles and paychecks on the company side so I guess that's one reason I've been putting it off

Good luck, brother......sometimes its a bit tricky getting freight out of TX on the weekend. Wait till the office folks show up to work on Monday...after 9 am and before noon....it'll blow up then. I have learned that patience can be a very valuable tool.......check it out...
