Roehl Driver Check In Continued

More CH R BS with this load. Shut down at a food lion parking lot cause no TS in Delaware. Really starting to HATE this ####.

 

What is the deal with the CH Robinson freight? Just curious why we're moving it.

 

They claim its back hauls but it's BS when you get multiples a week. The customers are in ###### locations. Usually not set up for our trucks and roads "no trucks over 2 axles" kinda ####. I'm just sick of crappy runs all week long.

 

It's the fact that the company is no longer a "professional driver" company. Well haul any BS freight cause if good drivers get sick of it and quit there are 100 more steering wheel holders waiting for a truck assignment.

 

On the flatbed side I tend to haul a fair amount of chr loads. I dont mind them that much. Sucks having to check in with thembso much.

I will take a chr load over this crappy curtain side load of doors.

 

If you're lucky they'll get closetmade again, you can get a great backhaul from FL to MN, then 17 stops spread out over 3 days.

 

I don't check in with them anymore haha. They don't pay my phone bill. My job is to deliver freight. I send a macro CS can forward the info if they care too.

I was just PP a good mileage load (for our regional fleet) not having to deal with any ###### locations. As soon as I confirmed it it cancels and I get a ###### run into secacus NJ. Called to ##### and get the typical need it delivered blah blah. Just gives me more motivation to check out the trucks for sale.

I love that it means I have to roll on no sleep again! Would make sense if they planned #### properly. Good thing I didn't mute the Qualcomm or I would of been asleep an ld not waking up till after the delivery appointment. Safety first unless a load needs to go. Then Roehl bank account first.

 

Cenex truck stop in Marquette, MI. Picked up load of ceiling tiles this afternoon in L'Anse, deliver Thursday morning to Jessup, MD.

 

3.5hrs detention, goto a preload to learn its a live load. Drvrs cant goto docks so drop mt where they tell me..6 hrs later told 1st shift didnt tell 2nd shift..lol now out of hrs..not sposed to park here..im parked aint goin nowhere for 4 hrs...Mexico Maine, been speaking spanish all day and had a lobster burrito.

Had a Roehl driver get testy with me last night. Ran the night shift and when I got back to the plant, the Roehl driver decided to block 4 open dedicated doors for our trailers. Knocked on the door and he gets out freaking about how long of a wait its been and that he cant go in and say something because the doors locked... Sorry dude, the door says employees only... I don't control that but you shouldn't park where your blocking our doors we need. He barely moved enough for me to get the trailer in. But I managed.
