    Funny my truck is paid for but if i stay home i have a negative settlement too......lol you mean my business can,t pay me if its not producing of course i work on a % now so there are horrible weaks and great weeks that hopefully turn into an acceptable. Quarter and a good year

    Yeah, that's an option I didn't really think of. But I'll save it for another time. Those bomb runs are awesome, lol. I ran a shorty in Washington that nobody else would do, and got 3k miles on the back end.

    I have not been on here very long, But I don't understand you guys, If these guys feel they can make it happen and they can get a truck they can use as an asset to buy themselves a new or newer truck then more power to them, I'm not sure where the problem is that you guys would get fussed up all about nothing if it isn't for you to go to JCT then don't do it, stay with your company driver position and stay away from these threads where they are proving that they are succeeding at this, it takes time to get this done, it isn't going to be a snap of the fingers but if I remember right it wasn't a snap of the fingers that the World was created, So give them time to either fail or succeed, It isn't any of my business how much time they take off for their business, This is what get these successful post in trouble is these negative folks coming in here and throwing up all over the place, these guys don't come to your threads or post and throw up in them with a bunch of negative stuff so why do you come in here with your negative post? It is useless, just keep it to yourselves, anyone that may be thinking about it isn't going to believe someone who hasn't tried it. If you want to know about something ask someone who has already been through it, If I had a choice to go through a mine field by myself or with someone who can figure out where the mines are, I'd take the guy with me that has already made it through it once! This is just my 2 cents worth but I don't think it is worth coming in here and blabbling about what someone else wants to do.

    Wow, talk about sour grapes! There are plenty of other companies that will take you and your dog, so go there. No need to slander JCT.

    I hate defending driver managers, but you're way off base. Well over 90% of the relays that I have done (less than 10% of loads overall) have been to help get another driver home. Relays are so easy to do that they're part of the plan, not some mad scramble to cover a load. When I accept a load that I know I can't make on time, the load planners are aware of this too and just want me to bring it into a busy "lane" for a swap. For example picking up in Grand Island, NE for Calif on short hours. I run it down to Amarillo or Albuquerque and swap it.

    Yeah, What I said right up there, no need to leave your thoughts about how bad you think the owner of this company screws people, I don't know the number but I bet if one of the drivers at JCT stops in and asks Mr. Christner how many titles has he signed over he can tell you to a ball park figure, There is no need to get all bent out of shape about something you have already chosen to NOT do, just go on your way and don't keep bringing your negativity back here every time you get behind a slow truck or a shipper or receiver slows your process down, Buddy it is going to happen weather you like it or not!.

    Yeah, He will be King over his Own toilet Seat soon and only let a few select use it??? Oh Well, I know I'm not in that group!

    LOL in a union driver and make more money than you will ever think about making!! Oh and I'm home every single night!!! How's the fam?? Oh wait you don't no your stuck in a truck stop wondering how to pay a truck note and trying to figure out how much fuel to put in for the next run!! Bla bla bla

    Oh and I have a PENSION that I don't put a penny in!! Does jct give u a pension??? Think not!! Not a 401 but a pension for years served!!! That's right in glad I'm not in your group!! There's to many 65 plus drivers out here that didn't think about there future when they wanted a truck of there own now they have to work till there dead.. Y'all have fun I will be on the porch drinking sweet tea and watching the grand kids play and the grass grow while y'all still be chasing miles!! What a shame!!

    Glad to hear it, Why don't you go start your own Post about how good you have it and how you are going to go and sit and watch the Grand Kids Grow up and the grass grow or whatever you said and get over it? My goodness I think a moderator I think they are called needs to come in here and delete these negative post so you can just go be yourself, Please be sure to be away from these positive threads? I am not trying to fight with you, I have no desire to fight with you, but I read the terms of being a member before I agreed to be here and I think it said something about fighting with other members of the forum, Maybe someone can show him where it says that in the term of use. I will no longer feed you with anything negative to say, So I wish you well, But may I kindly ask that you just go to your union job and leave those of us who want to like JCT alone? Thank You.
