In AZ for instance, if you do the twic first you pay the full charge for the twic, and your hazmat fee will be reduced by $19.50 when you do your hazmat. If you get your hazmat first then you will pay yhe full charge for your hazmat and your twic fee will be reduced by $24.50 when you do your twic.

Just a heads up about transferring a twic card if you move before it arrives but after you applied. You have to call or go online to have it transferred. Then if you do nothing else you will never get your twic card. Today (two weeks after I asked for it to be transferred) I stopped by the twic office here in Corpus and guess what, nothing had been done. The lovely girls in the office here got on the phone with a national supervisor and stayed on the phone until they had confirmation the transfer had been ordered (I should send flowers).
So now I have to wait another 7-10 days for my twic. -
It would not surprise me if she was flat out wrong. -
Maryland is not one of the states that reciprocate the background checks. Only way to save money there is hazmat first then get the twic after your hazmat comes back. If you don't live in one of the below states the only way to save money is do get your hazmat first, ones it comes back then go get your twic. You'll save $24.50 that way when you go to get your twic.
If you live in one of these states you can do either first.
you must hold a valid TWIC STA with at least one year remaining before expiration:[TABLE="class: cms_table, align: center"]

The only difference is how much you save (if you live in the above states). If you live in the above states, doing your hazmat first then the twic you would save $24.50 on your twic

Ok i know this is going to sound a little stupid but how much does a twic or haz cost? Or is it dictated by the state you live/apply for them?
-
Since when the hell do you need a diploma or GED to be a driver.

Hi Arky,
I was just wondering how the living arrangements worked out in San Angelo, as I am looking to relocate myself.
