That's one of the problems we face as drivers. It seems like *everything* is preventable. I had one fellow tell me a story about being asleep in his sleeper at a truck stop. Someone clumsily backed into his tractor and damaged a fender and wiped off a nose mirror. He was properly parked. He wasn't moving. He wasn't on-duty. His incident was still considered preventable. I don't see how if he was asleep in the sleeper for heck's sake.

I got fired from a company like Warner for screwing up a few times when I first started. I look at it as a big mistake on the companies part. I imagine everyone would be fired if they knew every wrong move someone made.
G21, 25(2)+2 and FEELTHEWHEEL Thank this. -
My company told me that same thing. :what:

Someone backed into my truck while I was asleep and they said that even though the other driver was at fault it goes on my dac as a preventable. Its not on my dac now but once I'm no longer with the company it'll probably show.

That happend to me i had to do a police report witnesses which it was silly everyone was a sleep or gone by than but nothing happend they believe me thank god

Yeah I'm gonna take a look at that you think if I move outside of state to Texas would it affect me the same way
-
You could move, but if the company you apply to uses HireRight, your past incidents will follow you.
G21 Thanks this. -
Your issues are going to follow you, If you move your DAC is not going to change any!FEELTHEWHEEL and G21 Thank this. -

where are you at? You have exactly how much experience? I wouldn't give up, If you go to Texas maybe one of the Oil Field companies can put you to work for them, My buddy I spoke about in one of these threads, He has gotten on with a small company and is doing pretty good once he gets his 2 yours in he is going to see if DAC will not remove the stuff on his report? It will let you put in a dispute to question why this is even on your DAC!. You just need to ask if the company runs a DAC or PSP on you if they do then I would tell them that your DAC is messed up and that you will need to move on to another company. Give the smaller companies a try, Like I said earlier the Craigslist has several of the smaller companies. Thanks.Last edited: Aug 24, 2013

Apply with Paschall Truck Lines.
Explain in detail what you did, just like in your post. Send it along with the application or email it. What you did is so minor it shouldn't matter.
Paschall Truck Lines is a good company & their trucks have APU's. Also, they do a lot of Texas freight, so if you move there, it won't affect your job. Texas is good; no personal income taxes.
If Paschall doesn't work out, try Carolina Cargo. It's a coast-to-coast team operation with lots of miles. Whatever it takes to get back on the road!Criminey Jade, FEELTHEWHEEL and luvtotruck Thank this.
