Dedicated Fleet (Ill text you details) But still looking to build a truck. I'm going to find a old 379 Pete and build it. Will likely go day cab with stretched frame built similar to one of the trucks my father built when my brother and I were growing up.

at the Pilot I95 x109 Savannah,GA for the night. Pick up at shipper in the AM in Charleston, SC for a run over to the Indy area for Weds. AM del...BS! I could easily deliver this Tuesday.

BS runs all over the place this time out, im startin' to get a little bitter about it.

the planners are ##$$!!^^&*&**^^&^%$$##!#$%%*********************^&___&&^^--- in "our" choice pay plan.

I hope all have taken the survey, I ripped them a new one in the comments.

personally I %^&*((()(&^%%$#$%^&**())_)(*&&^%%% make sure we have some lates and such to keep pay lower....

.....my current average miles per day this run is 377.....not happy at all, if im spending 24/7 away from home I fully expect to average 425+ and get home after my 4-6 weeks out with little to no time on my 70!

Rapid River t/s about 40ish miles from Mondays con. US-2 is a little more lively in the summer. Like a ghost town in the winter last time I ran this stretch. Should be heading south after idk how or how long it'll take. Last week a load from Appleton took me str8 to FL but idk if I'll get that lucky.

And Bayle yes it was southern sticks of IL. Some parts of southern IL are great, but this part had more of a mountain feel that back road country feel. I forget the name of the town.

You're perhaps assuming I am taking a 34? Not necessarily so -- I really did mean 0000; that's when I gain some recap hours back. It's largely academic of course...I doubt they're going to give me a load that leaves between midnight and 5. :) I don't need the reset because I'm heading home on Tuesday.

    Meltom and Bayle Thank this.

I'm assuming you guys are talking about the Dry Van side of Roehl... I started a post earlier to get some newer more updated info on that particular division. Could you all share you experiences? Miles, Pay, Etc. Thanks!

All divisions are represented here on this thread -- van, flat, curtain, reefer. This thread is where Roehl drivers shoot the breeze with each other, and post status on where they are and what they've hauled recently.

And as you can tell ALL fleets seem to have more and more time to post which means less time driving. HAHAHA. Thats part of the job. You will learn to love it or your in the wrong line of work. Freight will never really be consistently busy. You just have to hope slow freight is not NO freight.

Can't really complain about my miles lately. Been averaging 3K a week and always have a PP waiting for me before I go empty. Shut down in Onley, IL at the Red Rooster. Pick up tomorrow in town then headed to Shelby, NC. for Tuesday. As far as the planners, I've certainly had my complaints with them. I just don't think they take some things into account like heavy traffic, mountain travel, time change and so forth. Lots of times appts are scheduled way too tight. One more thing. How the heck do we view out scorecard? I click on the link on the website and get nothing.

Oh Canada....something...something. Went to shipper after 24 hrs sitting with nothing from Roehl but PU #'s from already picked up loads. Shipper got a van loaded, I called in with #, 30 min later Roehl said ok take it to MI. Then 'new weekend' FM said to me, (this after 10 emails and three calls to them in last 20 hrs) "You really should let us know when you're sitting without a load." WTF, do you even know how to read!? I just hung up and drove. I may be hanging up on him a lot if that BS continues.
