A couple of weeks ago I bought an Android tablet because they've become more practical and I'm a practical chick. I just wanted to downsize, tired of the notebook PC that I don't use too much.
It has Google Services and that means it synchronizes with any and all of my Google accounts. Great, I liked that. Until last night.
For whatever reason Gmail logged out and as I was signing back in Google stepped in and asked me if my tablet had been lost? And then offered to erase my tablet and take a picture of who was using it and have it emailed to me? lol I can't tell you how spooky it was, really.
Then I couldn't sleep. Had to put the tablet back in it's little case for the night and wrapped it in a towel.
I know a lot of young'uns are on the forum so can you tell me, can my tablet take a picture me anytime it wants to?
Is my tablet watching me?

I like my Samsung 7 but with Google I don't. Every time you take a picture with it, it posts it publicly online for anyone to see no matter what. I keep a piece of tape over the front (screen) camera as I do my laptop. If its not used for taking work related pictures then I keep tape on both of them. Google is run by the government and they do have the ability to turn it on without you even knowing and watch you.

My question is, what took that picture? That neighborhood is in an old southern town with huge oaks over the road, a canopy. From the eye level shot there's no way I can imagine it was a satellite image from a distance. How? I don't understand how that picture was obtained. The map info was from 2011. -
there is actually a Google street image car that takes those pics, Google it
