So for you LO what's the deal with the Affodable Care Act? Does the Prime plan count as employer offered plan, or as 1099 tax workers can you enter the exchanges or buy your own from any company?
has any of you guys looked into what the coverage requirements will be and when you have to have it?

Prime isn't my "employer." As an independent contractor I am my employer. So... my reading of the deal is that I can continue to take advantage of Prime's policy, or go to my state coop.
Being that I come from a reasonable state that's working with ACA, I believe I'll be seeing a rather large decrease in my medical coverage premiums. Sucks to be from a hard-core red state. -
Nothing reasonable about ACA.
The REDegade states know what's up.123456 and Boy Howdey Thank this. -
Thanks for the awesome thread JB. If I could drag up and go otr right now I'd be at Prime myself. Always see them coming thru SC. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

Bob Dole, Ross Perot, and all of the other candidates who never had a shot?
I remember them.
But, I'm not a Republican. Just as many forked tongues there as there are on the other side. -
Any Prime drivers out there use the Prime mobile app? Sounds kind of handy. Do you just take a picture of the document with your phone and then send it?
BigJayDragon Thanks this. -

Ant, the app is an incredibly useful tool. Get it, use it, save time and effort.
IP, none of my costs have fallen; rather, they've gone up. My only saving grace is that most of my medical care is provided by the VA.BigJayDragon Thanks this. -
