Call f&p now if you haven't already. They have to send out a new one from WVC; they don't have any at Conley. They will overnight it if you tell them when you will be there.

Called yesterday when I realized it. That's why I got preset to Conley. Liking how fast things get fixed in the Kraft fleet.

I don't usually take any delight in another driver's peril, however this morning was the exception. I just have to share it.

OK, so I'm picking up at KFCI. This place will give you a different outlook on drop & hook. Anyway, there's 1 empty spot in the middle of a row where I can drop my empty. It's so tight I'm having to wiggle the trlr into it. A driver with another company comes around the corner. He's BT, circling the lot, looking for an empty. It would have been easy for him to reverse and go down the other row. But no, he has to sit there, almost in my way, and just show his frustration with waiting on me. Seriously, he rolled his head, rolled his eyes, and even raised his hands in the air. I'm not ashamed to say it took me 5 or 6 pull ups to get straight. It's the tightest place to begin with and I had about 2 ft on either side and only had about 10 ft to work with pulling forward. Anyway, once I got it in there, he breezed by me nodding his head sideways in disgust. I gave no reaction (heck, I was happy to get that trlr spotted).

Well, my load I was picking up was still in the door, so I went around the building to grab it. After I hooked up and was doing all my macs, guess who pulls up with his empty? He started backing into a door 3 or 4 down from me and I suppose he wanted to impress me with his backing skills. He was pretty good, well except the part where he took the mirror off the truck in the door beside him. As I pulled out, he and the other driver were standing beside the dangling mirror. I just smiled and gave him a big thumbs up as I eased on my way.

If you don't get a green light, and the scale is open, you go in... Just as if you didn't have a PrePass.

    Arkansas Frost Thanks this.

A few places use nor pass, like all of North Carolina and some of Oregon and Kentucky's scales. At these places you'll get no light at all. Open= you go in, closed= keep the hammer planted.

Yeah, she always calls ID (Idaho) identification. Lol. Took a while to figure that one out, now it's just amusing.

i always tell my students to pull up and G.O.A.L as many times as it takes. You may look like a rookie to a lot of guys but your acting like a professional! It's always better to know your limitations and abilities and not overstep them, this dude you're writing about let his pride and overconfidence cost him a lot of money and time, not to mention he made himself look like a title douche..

Gotta watch out for the ones that won't show a red just to see if you will blow by so they can send a trooper to chase you down and empty your wallet. Never happened to me but I just imagine that could happen if I didn't stop. Lol.
