So apparently if you see any doctor, for anything, you have to have a release letter to go back to work, or so I was told today. What I fail to understand though is how you can expect to maintain any sort of medical privacy if that's the case. I only wish I knew of this earlier so I could have sent them pictures of my colonoscopy.

That's how it is everywhere, though, not just Crete. It's DOT regulations.

I've often wondered the same thing. HIPAA is incredibly strict about confidentiality. Yet when I was in orientation, they were asking a driver about some medical condition during a break right in front of others of us. It seemed to be a blatant violation.
-
So where is SSB??
-
He's off in dead-phone land.
Bumper Thanks this. -
I start orientation with shaffer tuesday, in regards to the driving test what backing manuevers do they have you demonstrate?
-
I've been with Crete twice and never done a driving test, sorry.

Mine involved driving around and backing into a spot at the truck stop.

After several days of getting up and goin' I sit here in Teays Valley T/A waiting....and waiting. It's the one thing I can't get used to. I have a 2130 delivery with the now oh so usual note of "Don't deliver early, even if they let you". I wonder what's really up with that? I mean if the cons says OK then:smt102 Why not? I also got my preplan to get me home. Kinston, NC to Commerce, TX. I'm debating on taking I40 and dealing with the mountain pass or take I20 and deal with Atlanta.

stungjoe Thanks this.
