Sounds like you are a newbie. Thus, you probably won't be tested until you finish your 8 weeks of training, at which time you will be a far better driver.

I was a student going on 8 week training for my first road test at the Lincoln orientation. We drove around for half an hour. Some did a pretrip. Its not as hard as the cdl road test in thAt they realize your trainer will make you a better driver.

    daviajosh and BuckeyeCowboy63 Thank this.

Odds are they will be assessing what skills you may/may not need to work on. When placing you with a trainer they can advise him/her as to areas to work on.

I had to take 2 road tests. One when I first got hired and one after training. Neither was too difficult. They don't expect you to be perfect. You'll hook up to a trailer, pretrip, drive for about 45 minutes, then back into a space in the yard. They want to make sure you can maneuver safely( turn signals, check mirrors, etc..)

    DaytonaDoug Thanks this.
