It was great running into you and ExHawkeye at Club Mav. I made it over to the Hook in W.Memphis, so my journey begins.

    Be safe.

Nice meeting you and ExHawkeye too! I like to put a face to a name. I remember faces better than I remember names. Good luck on your journey! You will do fine!

Picked up one pallet weighing 707 lbs at McLane in Dallas. Now I'm at a McLane in Shawnee, KS waiting for them to unload me.

Have a few questions for the TCD Guys...
What percentage of your deliveries are overnight? Also does the TCD run more states than say the FB guys? I have abt 4 yrs dry van and certified Driver Trainer but looking for more of a challenge an see different parts of the US. I live in Lexington KY and not sure if that's a bad spot for Maverick?

Thanks in advance and I appreciate your time.

I'm rather new at this all I can say is the times vary and your sleep schedule is going to be a bit on the screwed up side. Our load and delivery times vary it's all hours of the day and night. Just depends what they give you and how much time you have. As far as where we run. We have a few places we go in Lexington, KY. Most of the time I have see we are in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania. From what I understand we do have places in NYC, but we don't go there often. I saw a lot of Chicago though. My last run was from Memphis TN to Louisville KY then from Walton KY to Dallas TX. I've really only just started on my own recently though and before that was 6 weeks with a trainer. I'm sure Captain or ExHawkeye can give you a better idea on it since they have been doing this longer than I have.

Used to, we didn't have that many overnight deliveries. But since we picked up McClane, their receiving hours are always between 11pm and 3am or so. Night deliveries at Walmart aren't uncommon either. But it's definitely not an every day thing.

Primary states for TCD are Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and New York. We do some stuff in Kansas, Ohio, and the Virginas but not as commonly.

We do have two runs from Tulsa to Canada that give a nice change of scenery. One goes to Edmonton, AB and the other has two stops, Seattle and Vancouver, BC. And currently TCD is working hard at expanding in Texas.

You're in a good spot for TCD. They won't have any issues getting you home. And if your experience is recent, you won't have to go out with a trainer, you'll have your own truck after a few days at orientation.
