If he sent the message in this instance they would have probably sent him 50 miles the wrong direction to find out the trailer they sent him to pick up wasn't even there. He probably made the smart move calling in. Then again, even me calling in today still wasted my whole day chasing trailers. Missed my appointment because of it now they are making me wait til tomorrow morning because "I'm the only available driver for the load". What a waste, by the time I show up to the shipper to park overnight I'll have a whopping 160 miles. This after 265 yesterday and 156 on Monday. Tuesday was the only day I actually "drove" this week.

Yeah, SNI's "chase the mt" game was the final straw in me deciding to go dedicated. Weekend hunt, called in on Friday evening. Our fantastic weekend support shift assure dme I could get the assigned location mt when location info in WF clearly stated they were clnosed. Crossed the GW 3 times(last time was to leave after getting my load) that day drove about 400 milles. To ong island and back only to get an emerson trialer about 20 miles from the original location on the assignment!

I had me a diesel day today. Picked up last night in savannah, ga. decided the trailer needed a new tire so I shot for the wing foot in valdosta. Two blow outs at once, followed by four new tires at the wing foot after I drove. 27 Miles on two flats. . Gett 28 miles from my drop, and two more go out because somehow or another my mud flap got tangled up in one of them, possibly from the hurricane force winds blowing on i10 tonight. There's that karma for you guys, ####kkk.

There was a fire at the Obetz OC last night and I was stuck inside the gate because the support shift took 50 minutes to answer the phone only to tell me that the empty trailer I had was due for maintenance. I'm done with Schneider now, from the pay to all the stupid little things that happens unnecessarily with the Qualcomm. I'm looking elsewhere now. JB HUNT is offering me $0.41CPM and a $1500 sign in bonus for doing the same work without going to Canada and with a faster truck.

Wow reading this thread, sounds like Swift is better than Schneider now. CR England may be better than Schneider soon:biggrin_25524:

I am on a dedicated account and its all been good. We are off on the weekends and wingfoot comes out to our yard and checks all the trailers tires then. And on weekdays we got a full time trailer guy there for repairs. I get anywhere from 300 somethings miles to 600 miles a day. And always have a preassignment on my Qualcomm. And also I had a couple of problems with my new cascadia at different times (leaking inner diff wheel seal, front end out of alignment, cruise control not working) and took it to the Atlanta OC, They fixed it while I waited
