05 Intl 9400 w/ Cummins ISX. Last year I was getting 6.3mpg, dropped down to 5.4 in winter. New injectors and overhead brought it back to 6.3. Then i welded the EGR shut and now seeing 6.8.

My other truck is 99 Intl 9400 w/ Cummins N14. 7.5 mpg, and expecting better when I get it set up with a generator/AC/bunkheater to reduce idling.

My avg since January is 6.8mpg according to my IFTA which is actual hub miles and actual gallons purchased.

It's everything. Don't you listen to Kevin Rutherford? LOL.

    Seriously:

    2012: 6.38
    2013: 6.48, 01/01/13- 08/31/13 but drives are worn down.

Reman motor installed last week, new drives going on next month and winter is just around the corner so its all down hill from here....

I just realized that I had my truck exactly 8 years, to the day, when I picked it up with the new motor. I've done a few very different jobs with it and kept track of all of it:

5 axles, flat deck all over the place:

    6.27

8 axles in BC only, bulk pneumatic Super B's, loaded one way, lots of work in Vancouver only, 140,000#, lot of blower time:

    3.65

5-6 axles reefer BC, AB, WA, anywhere between 80,000 -105,000# (including 2 solid years of Vancouver- Seattle @ 7+ MPG)

    6.53

5 axle flat deck (again) all over the place:

    6.42

    Lifetime: 825,000 miles @ 6.29

    All MPG in US gallons
