You are confusing Vegaskid with the OP. Vegaskid says he already has a driving job right now. The OP was convicted of burglery twice and DUI.

Either way, not too many companies are going to take someone with any of that stuff. The OP may need to look into the company Vegaskid is driving for. DUI will fly with more companies, but I'm surprised that burglary got past the insurance unless it was really old.

I'd take someone with an old (15 years or more) DUI over someone with any of the others any day, especially multiples. We all make mistakes, but possession? Burglary? Not a chance.

That is exactly what I said. Vegaskid is very lucky to have a job. We cannot expect anyone else to be that lucky. Exactly as you said, he needs to contact Vegaskid's company. Because there are not many out there like them.

Just like I said previously everybody thinks that if you got felonies no one will hire you. Wrong they will depends on what they are and how old. And why do you think I cant pass a drug test? Just because I have drug charges doesn't mean I use drugs. Before you pass judgment know what your talking bout. No one on here knows anything about me except for what I have posted. But then I've gotten the responsise I expected, I was just trying to answer the guys question since none of you were.and ill tell you all this. I might not work fot the best company out there or the highest paying but anything is better than nothing. So I might not make as much as you but for me I'm pretty comfortable.

We've seen too many people come through here with felonies thinking they are going to get hired, and end up having wasted the money on trucking school. Many of us speak from experience learned through what others have been through and shared on here. You got lucky. And yes, a drug charge does make one think a person uses. Not really that big of a stretch. It's not really judgmental as natural progression of thinking. If you see someone buy a bottle of wine, some beer or smokes, what do you think????
