:D nah... it's a fact of life for those of us that are working for a company that uses EOBR's. Just looking forward to finishing my "dues" and moving on to better digs...

.... although it is cringeworthy that the government is still on track to mandate EOBR's.

By the way, I understand Landstar requires EOBR's for all new O/O's? Bummer....

    landstar8891 Thanks this.

Landstar: Your not wanting Elogs is moot. They will be mandated with in 2 years. We have no say in this matter.

Today I was able to squeeze out 10:47 drive time, including a nice 90 minute nap midday. Middle of a multiday run, so no hassles with shippers, receivers, or dispatchers. These kind of days are the best.

But few and far between...I think my newbie friend has the best e-log job...

He drops and hooks in NY and goes to Washington and Cali..He delivers and picks up and comes back to drop and hook in NY and does it again...He does 700 miles a day times .38 cents a mile..

Landstar: Is he able to do that run without a reset? I don't think one could do that on recap doing 700 A day. You would run out of hours quickly.

He resets in cali and NY at home..He started with the northeast B/S on an E-LOG.He made 75-100 bucs a day.He then told the boss man he was done if things did not change..

Now he believes the only way to make ''great'' money is to go from water to water with the e-log.He has only been driving 5 months now and since he went long haul his worst check was 1400.00..
