showering on the road

I think some of these guys only shower on the 31st of the month

 

One night I stopped at that TA before you go into Maine. Vermont? Anyways I parked and took my dogs to the grass area behind my truck. Beside my trailer was a 65ish year old fat man butt naked with gallon jugs of water taking a bath out the back of his trailer like it was nobody's business. I quickly took my dogs to a different area.
That sight still burns my memory. I'd rather look at roadkill.

I only shower when home and stay out for as long as three months at a time. I sell my shower credits for $5 each. Lol.

 

ummmmm..... I dont think I would admit that! I feel for your family when u return home!

 

Only on home time, and that's only is the creek is thawed.

 

the price of showers went up driver. you might want to raise your pricing. to keep up with the piss poor economy and lower trucker wages.

 

Go trucking in BC and you may not be able shower for days.

Always wear flip flops in the showers, drivers.

 

I shower twice a day.Once in the morning and once at night.I have all my clothes pressed and hung up in my closet before i leave to go on the road.

I carry a set of ''dirty'' clothes and boots for the times i need them to work on the truck.A good pair of coveralls comes in handy for this too.

There is no reason why drivers should smell and look like unprofessional alcoholic homeless bums.It says alot about a person and there self respect.

 

They stunk.
Hit a town after getting the cows to the shipyard, hit the hotel, take a bath in a tub, and put on all new duds.

The farmers up north used to get sewn into their longjohns in the fall, get a bath in the spring.

I' m sure glad indoor plumbing was invented!
