I am opening this up and looking for advice on a rocking sound system, amps, and subs in my 1997 Freightliner Classic....I have saved about 800.00-1,000 bucks for this and need advice on everything..

In the end i would like good quality sound and a somewhat loud decent system..I want to be able to open my doors and here this system cracking up ACDC while i wax the truck, play basketball or toss the football around in the parking lot....

Any ideas from the pros around here would be great...

Why not put that money into a maintenance fund or savings? You won't get your money out of it when you sell or trade the truck.

I just installed a Alpine 148 with 4 6.5" Rockford-Fosgate speakers. I haven't found the time to hook up the amp and sub yet....I forgot the amp wiring :(

U can buy wire adapter at F;liner 2 fit most radios, speaker wires must be rewired to handle more power.
