I am opening this up and looking for advice on a rocking sound system, amps, and subs in my 1997 Freightliner Classic....I have saved about 800.00-1,000 bucks for this and need advice on everything..
In the end i would like good quality sound and a somewhat loud decent system..I want to be able to open my doors and here this system cracking up ACDC while i wax the truck, play basketball or toss the football around in the parking lot....
Any ideas from the pros around here would be great...
Stereo system in tractor...

Why not put that money into a maintenance fund or savings? You won't get your money out of it when you sell or trade the truck.
