Very Nice! Nice to know the trucks will idle if needs be!, Be careful where you take the APU TrukTuff or someone had one go down in Ca. and they tried to screw him on his repairs!. Thanks for the info.

First thing to check is the breaker. If it fails to start on a crank it will trip the breaker and won't do anything from that point on.

Lift the bunk and look at the evaporator/blower box. As you face it, look for the two ridges on the upper right hand side closest to you. Inside those ridges is the breaker. Its black and hard to see. Push it in to reset it and see if the apu will fire up.

If I print that picture and put it under my bunk, will I have an operable APU?

Wyoming is already hinting at what's to come. It was 30 degrees this morning in Cokeville. I took a look at my clock and saw that the alarm was going to go off in a couple of minutes but it was too cold to shake off the covers. I reached down and turned up the dial on the Webasto and let it take the chill off while I huddled snugly in the bunk. It got windy near Laramie, but it was mostly a tail wind that helped me average 7.5 mpg for the day. This load scaled out at about 78.5k, the same as my North Platte load from last week.

Today was a 487 mile cruise to Bennett, CO. I got parked with 3:31 left on my 70 and pick up only 2:13 tomorrow, so the plan for Sunday is to run 301 miles to Ellis, KS and enjoy a half day off. Looking back at the carnage that caused my logbook to be in such a shambles, I see that I've driven 3,808 miles in the past 7 days. That's the way I like to roll! Run the miles if they're there, then enjoy some short days when they aren't. Ellis will leave me about 6 hours away from Sapulpa, so I should be able to check in on CapeBuffalo around lunchtime.

I talked to Cape tonight to make sure he was prepared for tomorrow. He sounds like a really organized guy and was way ahead of me, lol. Thanks and a shout out to TYSONDRIVER1 for his orientation comments. The past month has seen a few changes in JCT's orientation and it's good to get the latest info. My goal is to have any driver from this thread who decides to go with JCT arrive at orientation fully prepared and ready to pick out the truck he wants. So far there have been a lot of new Evolutions going to our readers!

At the beginning of the month, I set a goal of 13,500 miles for September. Tonight I'm sitting at 12,744 miles. This load delivers at 10:30 Monday night. That should put me about 40 miles above my goal! I'm going to wait and see what sort of preplan I get out of Arkansas Tuesday. A west coast run might give me the chance to stop by the house. If not, I'll put in for some hometime for the middle of October. What's my mileage goal for next month? I think that I would be very happy to run between 11 and 12k miles. September was pretty nice with lots of long trips and easy miles. I've earned a few days off though and I'm going to take them.

How does that look on a monthly basis? Here are my settlement numbers for September:

9/04 1,640 miles $ 793.87 (First week back after some maintenance. Great pay for the miles thanks to the new lease!)
    9/11 3,758 miles $1,546.78
    9/18 3,278 miles $1,219.24
    9/25 3,650 miles $1,751.34

    Total: 12,326 miles $5,311.23

That's $1,327.81 per week, $.43 per mile (not including the safety bonus), and four weeks closer to owning this truck!
