I only work so hard to qualify myself because you guys treat me like a rookie driver that doesn't know anything. 2 years isn't a lot if you sit by and just drive a truck, but its a lot of your active on the forums, always talking to more experienced drivers at truck stops, researching the industry etc. You can learn a lot without being behind the wheel. I've run Colorado winters and have chained up. I don't run reefer so i haven't hauled produce (aside from oranges an onions when i flatbedded) But i have hauled in negative degree temps, mountains with snow and ice etc. I even hauled a few escort sandy relief loads before the main roads were reopened. So no, im not trying to say im better then you guys, but I am trying to say, stop treating me like a newbie right out of CDL school.

    LOL.

Just like the Richter Scale which rises exponentially, so does the learning of TTR's very own Richter. His learning rises on an exponential scale:

Only for some reason he can't figure out why he doesn't need to keep convincing everybody about how smart he is. We don't give out awards here Richter. Unless you count blowing raspberries an award.

I know you won't be seeing this response, since you got mad and went home, but I'm going to post it anyhow. As long as you keep trying to tell others how to think and how to act, you are not likely going to be given much of a pass on anything. I do believe you step into your trousers the same way we all do. You really, REALLY need to calm down and get over yourself.

When I was a kid, oh I don't know, 14 or 15, I worked in a "mom and pop" supermarket. Now the owner was an old time grocer. He opened the store and ran the business, raised a family and had money (LOTS) in the bank. Then his kid graduated from the University of Colorado and came into the business. For many years, these two were at each other's throats all the time. I remember the old man saying, "I'd like to buy that kid for what he is worth, and sell him for what HE THINKS he is worth."

    what.

    What?

    WHAT!?????

Uh oh, I see a discrepancy here! You are claiming 32 years on your profile!:biggrin_2559:

Ya know Gigs, a person of your advanced years needs to slow down a bit. After all, the real old timers, don't see so good, nor do they hear so good. Likely don't smell so good either. . .:biggrin_25522:

No, why don't you tell us all about it?:biggrin_25522:

I always knew I liked yer granny! I remememememeber waaaaaayyyyyyy back when, I used to say, "you know," I'd say to myself, "Self, that G3Truks has one fine granny!":yes2557::biggrin_2559:

Nope. Not gonna touch this one.

Oh, so now you can't be trusted to keep your word either? WOW, I'm impressed.:biggrin_25522:

And yes, I'm just yanking your chain here. . .:biggrin_25525:

Yep, lots of drivers don't shower on a regular basis, and can get quite nasty. Right Guard can help, though. . .

    Well yeah, but. . .

You are calling Richter HONEY?:biggrin_25513: I am crushed. I thought I was your honey.:biggrin_2557:

    Now you don't.:biggrin_25523:

Among a lot of other things, I would imagine!:biggrin_25522:

Well shoot, you outta jump in the river and swim up to Laughlin then. Kind of a lot more entertaining than Needles. . .

All together now, Children; "SHALL WE GATHER BY THE RIVER,"

He called her Lucy and she called him Shorty. . .:biggrin_2558:

The beatings will continue until moral improves! Every rookie goes through being a rookie. A whole lot of us were rookies well into middle life, as we came to trucking after a full career somewhere else! I think what you need is a good stretch in the military to help you grow up.

Yep, truckon, you are right. Crying out LAUD is what he is doing!:biggrin_25525:

I know I shouldn't pick on him, but some things are just SOOOOOOO inviting.....

Is BigDon working on becoming the new AfterShock? And whatever happened to the Shockster, anyway? Dude just up and disappear? Eaten by Bears? Kidnapped by aliens? Taken as a love-slave by Maya Angelou?
