I really have nothing bad to say about this company. They actually are governed at 65 and you can make money with them AFTER you've earned your experience. If you're just getting into trucking with this company, your pay will be abysmal.

Thus far they sound no different then any other mega carrier. They appear to be the path to experience, but also could be a good or bad experience dependant on the individual. Although they have one thing that appeals to me, and that is per diem. According to their web site, that is 12cpm with no admin cost, Is that correct? Like all mega's you have to take them with a grain of salt, and hope it works for you. Although what do I know?

Has anyone done or know what the "Apprenticeship Program" is all about? Its a year long? Whats the difference if I went to CDL school then joined?

its just a way to use your g.i bill but you actually get the money after werner gets a piece of it... highly discourage to use it,, it comes out to about 250 a week, and if you for some reason use it and you decide to quit you must pay it back..RYAN said: ↑Has anyone done or know what the "Apprenticeship Program" is all about? 0.25/mile? How long ago was that? They promised me 33.5/mile, and I have it in writing, but now I'm beginning to wonder.

That all depends on your prior experience and the account you get on. I make 31 and a half doing otr, with about 3500 - 4000 miles a week. Get to know your dispatcher and he /she will treat you right.NJ LADYTRUCKER said: ↑0.25/mile? How long ago was that?
