SOLD!!! Can I make payments with baseball cards, marbles, and chewing gum?

Headed towards NC today, still about 350 miles to go. Stopped through the Indy OC and had 2 of the tires on the trailer replaced, one was losing chunks off the cap and the other had a giant piece of metal stuck in there that somehow hadn't punctured anything yet. Walked by the cafe there, stopped for a second and almost decided to order something, but then common sense kicked in and I continued walking past. I don't think I'll ever eat there again.

Getting close to my home time, gonna blow up the phones at Schneider Finance if I don't hear from them soon, I am hoping to work out my lack-of-a-truck situation over my hometime so that I can go ahead and get my choice training done and hit the road... we'll see how that goes though.

Just got in for 5 days of hometime, after the most incredible 3 weeks of driving I have ever had since I started with Schneider.

    3 weeks of:

    No Northeast
    Awesome Customers
    3000 miles week 1
    2800 miles week 2
    2900 miles week 3
Ran recap hours entirely on weeks 2 and 3
    Great customers, light loads
Did not have to call in ONCE with ANY issues
Got pay raise, am at .32 or .33 per mile now, can't remember which

Where was this the previous 8 months that I've been with Schneider?? LOL

Anyway, time to enjoy some time off and got a call from SNI Finance, will get back with them on Monday and hopefully have a truck sorted out soon for Choice...

I was surprised as well, it was really odd the way my DBL described why, she said it was because I was hired this year, and they were giving raises to drivers hired this year after 6 or 9 months and then another after the 1 year mark to stay competitive with the market average and to help with driver retention or something along those lines... Apparently if I stay company for a full year then I'm bumped up to .35 or .36. Seemed really strange that she mentioned it had to do with drivers just hired this year, anyone else get this?

It's been standard, started at .29, bumped to .33 after 6 months, .36 after 1 year, .38 this June based on scorecard

I'm at .41 top of the chain. So no raises. Just a bonus

It was nice riding with you boys out there, but I'm gone. They expected me to drive my truck to Atlanta while I'm sick and on medication and are now charging me with an abandonment for my DAC even though my truck is sitting on a secure area (my house.) This is of course after they caused me to miss my VA appointment, got me home 2 days late and never got me over 2,000 miles in the last month I was out. Got a local job hauling eggs into Florida for more money every week and home at least 3-4 days a week. Stay safe out there guys.
