Well your a newbie so bottom of the pay scale. I started lets see..... feb 2002 and in the first year I made 48500 and that was 6K more than what they told me. I never said you lie just stating something that he already knows cause to many people flap their gums and don't tell the whole story..
In 11 years I average about 54 to to 56K per year and I am home a lot. So maybe you got a bad driver manager

So your grossing over 700.00 a week then. Not too bad for your first year. What are you paid by the mile? How much is your P/D rate and live load/unload rate? I have been with JB intermodal for 2 years and a year and a half has been local. I'm on target to make 43,000 or more.

Wow your D/H rate and Live L/U is a lot lower than St. Louis. I thought they all were the same other than places like CHI where traffic is bad.
-
From what the recruiter told me chi 4 state intermodal pays .42/mi no d/h or live ld pay. ave 2600/mi a week. $15/hr for delay at rail and customer after time.

Regional is different pay scale than local. And the pay scales vary region to region. As well as freight
-
intermodal is the higher paying of the two. but regions are all different. I noticed down in texas the starting pay is less then it was in Missouri... But I didn't have to worry about starting pay.

hopefully for you guys up the you get a little something... I am on a dcs and maxed the pay scales.. But I have no complaints...

Reginal intermodal don't get the accessory pay but start at a higher cents per mile and many of the regional guys are hitting 3200 miles per week. I've done both local and regional intermodal. I grossed more money on local but I take home more on regional with the per diem pay option.
