The best way to make these companies increase wages is by simply NOT accepting what they're paying. Don't go to work for them. They'll have to increase the pay just to find people to work.
drvrtech77, Lonesome, Tonythetruckerdude and 5 others Thank this. -
We all know how this will end..................If any money is awarded, the Lawyers are first in line! ( They should be)

This is why Swift now pays minimum wage to trainees.
DrtyDiesel and CondoCruiser Thank this. -
I hope he has a leg to stand on as the mega-carriers need to pay these guys better. Even if one is in training they are putting on the miles. A mile is a mile. Grant it they have more accidents but in many cases these companies are taking their paydays and illegally coercing them into pay for damages. Then there is the whole insurance thing. If they want to self insure that's their choice. Get out of the training game and pay for good experienced drivers.
I have a feeling like many new drivers he has done the cash advance thing and lost track of his true pay. Even at 10 cpm team pay he'll still make around $500.
Good luck driver and I hope you have some intelligence and don't make the rest look stupid.
Wow that Werner lawsuit said some 41,000 drivers were affected in 5 years. That is 22 drivers a day. They are herding faster than I thought. -
Chinatown Thanks this.
