s'up everybody. sitting here at the ta in amarillo,tx. monday drove up to cactus,tx jbs from waco tx. thought everything was good because my load info said pu jbs 10/8 4am to 10/8 4am..so got up to jbs at 7. take my break and shouldve been ready to go at 4 am or 4 430 am the latest. well secuirty never called when load was suppose to be ready, got in touch with them 806-966-5103 ext 0 they said load hadnt been started..oh well went to back to bed till 6am, messaged heather and she let me know thru message at around 12pm that the load wouldnt be ready until 4pm today. so it came out at 4pm and now i am sitting here at the ta until 4am and then i will leave. all of that time messes with my sleep. how can i properly rest if no ones knows when the load will be ready...i did let heather know that i was professionally pissed...lol
HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
the cows refuse to die
it was very frustrating at first
I either just got used to it
or found my own little intuitive plan of knowing when they will be ready -

Husband doesn't miss the meat houses at all ....too many switches between nights and days. His new company has a few trailers that have reefers and he has had them out before ....but he gets to haul things like gourmet chocolate.....the relief supplies for the reservations ....all deliveries during the day. It is much easier on him physically. He never could go to sleep at the drop of a hat ....except if he is at home sitting in his recliner! LOL

why cant lease operators have trucks that run 70 mph? i know i have mentioned this before but i dont understand the logic behind a 65mph truck for a lease operator.

I had worked for Trans Am in 2007 and as a company driver did "ok". I was happy with the general program, averaging about 2.8k miles weekly. But after an offer to SUB-CONTRACT W/IN TRANS AM & work for a WORM BY THE NAME OF "RICO" (Jonathan Garcia; R.J. Trucking), I along with about 4 or 5 other drivers were terminated for "unknown/unfounded" reasons... He bounced our last two checks!!! I was even kicked off the truck in VA. while driving double with him.
All along he was using the Lord's name in vain, "thank God I have you for a driver...
"OH, you drove over 65 mph down that hill yesterday, endangering my life, you're fired, get your #### off my truck"!!!
(Cost me about $600 to catch a bus home from there)
I called the cops, they said 'his name was on the truck lease' thus, I was S.O.L.! Then I tried to sue him for the last two checks he wrote me & bounced to me. He lives in Paducah, Kentucky which is one of the lowest rated places in the country for allowing $$$ law suits !!!! Do not work for Johnathan Garcia or "Richo" (Sub Contractor) at Trans Am!!!!!!!!!
I took this story to the owner of T.A. & he says, "there's always two sides of the story"... meaning either he was on Rico's side or he didn't care what Rico did !!! See "Ripoff Report"
(http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Trans...oney-while-working-for-Jonathan-Garcia-280094) for full details of my story following that incident". -
Well things are starting to work out. Talked to Patrick he seems competent and would get me something for the time I sat. Get a phone call as I was on my home between deliveries asking if I wanted more miles, so I ask how and they say can you rescue a load, sure why not. So today will be busy as I stopped in Gainesville, Ga. to drop my trailer to grab one from a driver who broke down and deliver in Taylorsville, Nc. today, go back to Gainesville,Ga to get my original trailer and deliver that one on thursday. I think I can still make it by the house but wow will it make it really tight on time. Anyway it adds 500 not much but better than what I thought I would end up with this week plu I could squeeze in 500 more before thursday midnite and that would make it a halfway decent first week. I hope it all works out, now if I can figure out how to "accidently" hurt this treq system so these next 2 days could go exactly how I want. I asked if they could shut off my e-logs and I could definetely deliver this rescued load on time but they don't find much humor in that(LOL). Thats trucking one minute you hate the world next you are too tired to do anything.
HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
honeybadger with that picking up a trailer and driving around the yard, thanks for the laugh. you are cracking me up lately, you are the funniest badger ever(LOL)
