Even though you didnt qoute my post im going to assume your responding to my post from the pkacement of your post and you taking offense to it and responding the way you did.

Ask 10 auto transporters(that have dealt with repo companies) what they think about repo companies and atleast 9 out of the 10 will say something negative. The post I had posted below (brian??????) hit on things that I have experienced at repo yards and are reasons I hate repo companies. Ive picked up from some good repo companies too but in general repo's suck. You guys cant seem to get away from that trashy mentality I guess you have to have to deal with the trash you repo from. Start treating people with respect and maybe you can hire some respectable people instead of the trash that usually works at them places. Anyways youve proved to have the less desirable repo company wether it be you or your employees that made it that way.

On a positive note the last repo car I picked up was in Clay Center, KS going to a repo yard in MD. Picking up I didnt get any negative vibes and they treated me as if we were on the same team.

Yes sir I was responding to your statement. I tried to do the quote thing but missed to do it correctly. Again I do understand that many repossession yards are less than accommodating to transporters. Our company picks up from many. Most do not have maned offices and no set business schedule. MAny of the Debtors are decent people falling on hard times and some are less than stellar people. Statements that you are making imply that you have a clue to what kind of company we are here. When a company has many employees sometimes things happen. To say that I have proved to have a less than desirable repo company is based on 1 person who stated that most of the dealings here were very good and 1 issue to you makes it a entire company issue. Very Short sited on your part.I do believe that 1 bad apple can ruin a bunch. As issues are identified they are dealt with.I did not start the transport industry, I was asked to help. After that the company keeps growing. We must be doing something right. We are by far not the least expensive transporters in the region we cover. People keep asking us to do more because of our level of service, professionalism and such forth. If all transporters were stellar than I would have never had an opportunity to enter the market. With that said, I truly appreciated hearing the issues experienced here and this morning had a staff meeting to see what was written. We take it very seriously and are working to better ourselves and our image daily. If you have constructive criticism please do share. If you just want to summarize all repo companys into one bad experience, I believe that has been accomplished and that's ok. Thank You for your input.

I would have to agree. The most honest you can get too. The only employee I could ever trust with a company card with out getting all kinds of personal charges was a ex con.

Well from what I hear Alot of Allied Guys are hitting the bricks so you maybe able to hire some of those guys.
Wait you want some drivers that will work lol n/m
Hiring car haulers is a pain in the rears most guys think money and do not know whats involved I know 2 guys that never hauled a car with anything and they both went out and bought 10 car stingers to play with the big boys.
Well first one last about 3 months and sold the truck said it was to much work and not enough money.
2nd one is about to get out of it because he has damaged about as many cars as he has hauled.

I would suggest finding some freight drivers and look for ones that like to run not the truck stop heros that set all day for breaks and bs.
and forget most of the requirements some of these places ask for its crazy long as there CDL etc is in good shape and have common cents.
    they can be trained
Common cents will beat book smarts every time

    Ziggy319 Thanks this.

Ziggy319, car hauling is hard work and most of us younger guys even don't know the value of true hard work. Seems to me that a lot of my generation is just dull minded steering wheel holders. But, there are a few that can fit the bill for you. Keep your head up and advertise.

Well This is in response to my very first post here and the advise given. So much has transpired since this post. I have a team of drivers now that are awesome. Just to lay out what has gone on. I replaced my trucks and bought new 2014 and 2015 Petes. Grew by a couple also. Took 11 months and 17 doctor appointments to get my med card (diabetes) so i could get my own class A. Got my class A so i could see what you guys really do out there. Moved a few loads and found out how hard you guys really work out there. We now pay better (in line with the industry). We offer benefits, We still give paid vacations, and we have a lot of fun. I now have a driver manager that will hit me with his truck if i try to drive one of the others. LOL I learned from my guys how to do the job and learned from my body that Its not my cup of tea. The trucks are all out fitted with everything a driver needs to be comfortable for his time out there. Also everything needed for hime to do his job. Its Hard work. <---did i already say that??
Now as things are getting better we are growing and will be buying more trucks soon. We are doing it 1 at a time. We now have 6. The 7th will be purchased soon. That you guys for your input. Its been very helpful. I now know how to live in a truck, load a decent load and drive for 8 hrs and take a 30 so i can drive 3 more just in time to load and unload, I love what i do and will continue to grow. I refuse to haul cheap freight but do some mail man stuff. The drivers are the back bone of this company with a great support team in the dispatch office with some hard working ladies. If you read this and are a driver that likes what he sees, call us we will be needing a driver for that new truck soon. Once again, Thanks for all the feed back.

To bad all transportation company owners don't put themselves through what you did. I believe it to be honorable I think that every owner should have to atleast ride in a truck for a month to see what there drivers go through on a daily basis. May god bless you and your company and may you continue to grow and be a standard for other companies to copy

live to ride ride to live
