I talked to an IRT driver on the radio today and he was telling me you guys have to run 600 miles a day even in California to make the delivery times? That sounds a tad extreme to me

When y'all talk about being delayed for 6-8 hours at a dairy, are you talking about the farms where the cows are or are you talking about the processing plants?
I have been reading this thread for about a year, as well as others that talk about hauling food grade tanks and I have always thought you were talking about being delayed at the farms (that's what I call a dairy). My buddy got me to thinking what y'all call dairies are probably more like the Borden plant in Cowarts,AL or the Mayfield Dairy plant near Cleveland,TN.
Now that that's out of the way, feel free to resume your regularly scheduled thread. -
no you go to the dairys weres theres hundreds of cows at pick up the milk then take to to the plants
