I was thinking about this the other day, when I stopped at the rest area on I-81 near Bristol to take a quick bathroom break. All the spots were full so I parked along the backside of the rest area. It said no parking but I was going to be quick in and out and wouldn't be blocking anyone, until I saw one of the State Troopers coming towards me with his little parking ticket book.

So I just took off and saw him start writing up a ticket for the truck in front of me who wasn't blocking anyone either. I've never thrown a piss bottle out but that made me want to toss one into that rest area.

like i've said many times before.

we're in a world of disrespectful truckers. that just don't give a crap. and was probably raised that way.

could bve why we have csa and all the other BS also.

sometimes i wished i never pretrip my trailer. cuz there's usually 2 gallons sitting behind.

heck, one time, in hesperia. there was actually a guy laying underneath the trailer. 3 trucks down in the next row. PLAYING WITH HIMSELF. and we're not talking rubbing his pants either.

Well written yes, but the writer suggest throwing gallon jugs of pee into the truck stop garbage cans? Doesn't that make it the problem of whoever has to change those bags when one of those snap on gallon jug caps comes off. Im not saying im not guilty but she should say something like dump it out first then throw away the empty.

Too often, we fall into stereotyping...and it works both ways.

I've had a lot of jobs, been a lot of places, and what it boils down to is: people are people.

I can't say I'm very happy to see how society has changed regarding how people treat each other...too many folk are all about themselves and don't give a hoot about anyone else.

That is an across the board societal thing; it doesn't matter if you're a trucker, pilot, doctor, lawyer, CEO of a fortune 500 or a soccer mom. There are good folk (which I truly believe still outweigh the bad) and then there are the complete chuckleheads. Unfortunately, we seem to be hardwired to remember the bad people/occurences in life...perhaps it is a self preservation mechanism. Fool me once...you get the idea.

Personally I live by the golden rule and try not to let the chuckleheads get to me so much. What you put out there eventually comes back to you.

Unfortunately, it seems like you can try to tell the nig-nogs until you're blue in the face that what they are doing is wrong...if they are throwing pee bottles out of the truck or, worse yet, peeing truckside at a truck stop...your time is better spent yelling at a brick wall.

Keep on truckin', and remember - don't be a Richard Cranium.

It's actually just as bad in the resturant i work in. people just love to pee on the walls and floors more than in the toilet itself. And it's an everyday thing. some people r just sick I tell ya ! I work at a chille's so i thought it wouldnt be so bad. I guess thats what I get for thinkin !
