I am feed up with ALL of the truck stops treating my bank card as if its not real money. I can not pay at the pump so I have to walk across 10 pumps into the store where at least 3 people are waiting in line at the fuel desk. I then explain that I want to get some fuel on pump 99 and they ask "how are you paying?" I reply my bank card. And then after that I walk back across the football field parking lot only to pay EXTRA because I don't have a fleet card. I then walk back across the parking lot after moving my truck back into the store and enter my pin number in which then takes the money out of my bank account right AWAY!

So I'm thinking of helping out BIG OIL some more by shopping around for a fleet card.
How do you pay for fuel, what cards do you use and give me some details on the benefits of them?
    Thanks in advance.

OOIDA has a card. Depending on who you are leased to, they may have a card you can use. I currently use my Credit card while I wait for my Fleet card to come in the mail. When i worked for Landstar I used my landstar card. I'd use the OOIDA card if i did not have a fleet card.

we use our bank card, but don't fuel at pilot, loves (puts hold for the amount you request and the amount you get for up to 4 days) we fuel at alot of Mapco's, Qt's and mom & pops, get fuel alot cheaper and just buy a shower, at times as much as .30 cheaper a gal. so it works out good for us.

Joined NASTC and use their Fleetone card; have a credit limit and pay once weekly...mostly good at TA or Petro plus some others, not Pilot/FJ. Great discounts most of the time, the week is Tuesday / Monday, they take the money for the previous week from my account on Wednesdays. Works for me....

I also have the NASTC Fleet One Card that I have seen over $0.30 per gallon discount over the cash price posted at the truckstop. Well worth it.

I run local across Florida, cash at a gas station saves .22 - .25 cents per gallon. May sound crazy but at 320 gallons a week and 52 weeks a year I save.

I just got my NASTC packet in mail. I think I will go this route myself. It seems like a great product but I'm new to the O/O end so I'm still learning whats good and what's not.

You have posted that at least 100 times on this forum & that is fine(NOT intended to be a negative post). But while that $.30 sounds great, have seen TA post $.15 higher than Pilot/F-J from the get go. Yes you still may save a bit, but not quite the window that sentence leads one to think.

As well, truck stop pricing can run regional. This past spring the TA/Pilot price near Austintown, OH would be $.15-$.30 cheaper than Akron/Columbus areas. Never understood that one as it was over a several week span. But about the time I started to expect the differential, it had leveled out with the rest if the state.
