Hi everyone!
I have a 2011 kw t660 with a studio sleeper, I do not have an APU yet, so I have to idle my truck for AC. I am down in Florida
Right now, and naturally the air blowing in the sleeper is not as cool as it has been, still very warm and doesn't cool down
the sleeper. However the ac blowing up in the front is just fine. Does anyone have any ideas on what could he causing this?
Thank you!
sleeper AC question

low on freon or heater letting hot water past cut off valve.

Air blend door in the ducting under the bunk not closing properly, thus allowing the cool air to mix with hot, compromising the cooling capability. The HVAC under the bunk is a separate system from the one in front, but uses the same compressor on the engine, therefore requires the engine running, and the front AC turned on (to control the compressor).

try turning off your water valves to the sleeper. if the engine has them. it's what fixed my bunk a/c

Need help the sleeper just blows out hot air the truck has a new compressor, drier, and expansion valve. Does the sleeper have different Ac components? The compressor stays engaged while the sleeper is on I even shut off the front Ac in the cab any comments would be greatly appreciated

The most common cause of this problem which I've encountered on the T660 was the heater control valve under the bunk. There should be some coolant lines coming off the right side of the engine.. they should have valves attached to them... identify the one which goes to the sleeper heater core and close off all flow through the valve. If the bunk AC suddenly gets cold at that point, the heater control valve is your culprit.
