Yep... It's hard... Especially when we just start out our route and we both had good night sleeps. I do better driving at night, Klingon is better during the day. I'm ok as long as I get a nap before my shift I do pretty good. I do admit though we schedule in our planning a couple hours for down time at night. That way it's there IF I need it. If I don't need it! we get time at the end of the run. The best thing we have found is audio books that we store on our phones... Plug in ear buds and no noise for the other to try to sleep over (I'm noise sensitive... Background noise is fine, but songs, words that type of thing and my brain won't shut off). It's getting us to interrupted sleep and being able to get BACK to sleep... It almost seems like any time we aren't driving, we are sleeping or trying to sleep. What else has helped me during the day is the curtain... Keeping the back dark. Also reminding Klingon to shut the doors QUIETLY... Another help was getting a port-a-pot... Not having to wake up, wait 20-30 minutes to then TRY to go back to sleep... It's a talent to use while moving, but well worth it! Several rest areas and many truck stops have RV dumps... And it's portable ;)

If you have 7 years and have to ask, don't do it unless your relationship is disposable.

    LOL... No we won't!!

Well we are back in our loop ... Coolant leak fixed ... Loose hose behind the turbo (per Freightliner... I this it got loosened when they did the overhead, but who am I to tell them different).

However they are having 'fun' putting the On Spot chains on... And when we called On Spot, it was the first time ANYONE (including their website) said they might not be OK for CA because it's on the Super Singles... They 'say' good in all states, no qualifiers!! GRRR!!
