Go top HireRight.com and request a copy of your DAC Report. It's free once a year and will be mailed to you within 2 weeks. Recommend this to ALL drivers . 99% of you will be surprised by the 100% lies reported. Luckily mine that were 100% False fell of at 7 years and that's passed. Otherwise I would have sought legal advice.

    Brownstien2 Thanks this.

Canada? For being such a POS outfit Werner sure has high requirements of their drivers. OP they did you a favor by not hiring you. You'd be making $300 a week.

As others have said, alcohol is major, weather driving or not.

In 92/93 you showed poor behavior. You were good for a few years but then relapsed with a dui in 97. Yes now it is 16 years later, but it still enough for them to think you might drink again under the stressed of a new job and trucking. Try TMC. Their safety guy is a great guy. If you dont bull #### him he is a pretty reasonable man and if you truly haven't had any problems in 16 years, he may be willing to make an exception for you. Warner is to big to view each driver on a case by case bassis. if you dont fit their formula, you cant be hired. Smaller companies insurance wont cover you so they can hire you. You need a Self insured company (because they can make their own rules) who isn't so big they will still hear your case. TMC may just fit the bill.

Thought companies only check 10 years back? DAC erases everything good or bad after 7.

Carriers are required to collect a 10 year work history on ALL drivers. They must check at least the last 3 years. Some will check back further than the 3 years, especially if something pops up. DAC is like your credit report. They only keep the last 7 years, just like your credit report.
