Roehl Driver Check In Continued

It just baffles me how slow the construction has been at Gary. Its been liked 6 months since we have had showers or bunk rooms at Gary. At least now it looks hopefull.

 

Gary tonight. Must be slow going on construction as it's been a few weeks and I can't see much progress on bunks or showers for drivers either, but the classrooms for new students have been done for a month.

 

You guys didn't think they'd take care of the drivers first did you?

 

Sitting at the cons in Florence, KY. Unload in the morn, then a PP to Missouri.

 

Stopped in Billings Mt. at the Pilot. Enjoying the meat bomb at Mc Donalds Double Quarter Pounder large fries. Replace all those calories I spent today. BTW 600 today.
I will be glad when they finish Gary. Right now I would rather stop at Fontana Ca. At least there is a shower and the TV doesn't cut out every 30 seconds. Oh and a coffee maker.

 

Ha. Here I am at Aitkin, MN tonight for a load of lumber in the morning.

 

Do any Roehl drivers do the 7 days on ..3 off..?...

 

Where did you park for the night? I ussaly park at my cabin if I have to wait till the morning. Never thought to look around for parking in aitkin.

 

3 hr live unload this morning in Chicago followed by a (shippers estimate) 6-8 hr live load in Milwaukee this afternoon and evening. So when are we going to start getting paid hourly? Suppose to be in Appleton tonight to get new truck PC. Personally I'd rather just stay on paper.

deliver in Andover, MA early and got the ok to stop by my CDL alma-mater (NETTTS) for a visit after.

ill be down to around 10-12 on my 70 till sunday morning so I hope they get me something I can pick up early afternoon-ish so I can impress all the students with my kick butt Cascadia and stories of how awesome it is to "be your own boss" as the "King of the road"
