Well since Roehl started downloading info every day, hence it will also reset info in performance then I suggest a pencil and paper at fuel island.

Well, I always get out and look at least once on every back. The only way they will know for sure is if the driver admits it. He could have gotten out and looked before making the back, but not gotten out and looked just before the incident occurred.

How many times a driver must GOAL is not an exact science. Sometimes I GOAL several times. I just did a blind back this weekend in which I decided to GOAL at least three times to make sure I wasn't going to hit something, but if I had hit something, then the fourth one would have been the magic one that I would have missed.

The huge coils are the only ones i actully drop the air out of the trailer for loading and unloading. So much weight at one shot cant be good for the airbags. But still fun seeing the trailer sink when being loaded and rise as its being pulled off.

I have another load of pipe i got today from allied tube. Headed to Kentucky for 1 pm. I am in southern indiana at the moment. Was hoping the movie man was working tonight but apparently hes not.

I remember one safety guy that was a real ****. The rest of Roehl's staff in general were pretty great when I was there.

I'd expect they'd want to see GOAL several times during the maneuvers. I'm not going to get laissez-faire about my test. I plan to go strict and as by the book as I can possibly do. My only hope is the quarters aren't soo tight that there's only barely enough space to make a maneuver without incident.

They are tight, but doable. They're not going to go out there and change the course just to make you fail. If they're going to terminate you they don't need a course failure for that.

I had an instructor show me twice on a couple of the maneuvers and then we traded places. If they run you through the close quarters training I would imagine that it's because they want to keep you as a driver.

I was told once by someone in operations or HR, can't remember which, that most drivers who leave the industry do it by the 6th month. The indication being that once you're past that point you're more likely to stay in the industry and therefore worth more to try to keep.

From what I've been told, Roehl has moved away from termination for every fault to a retraining type program. Obviously, accidents with other vehicles and injuries/deaths are still going to be handled differently than scratching the fiberglass. Please keep us posted, as I'm holding out hope for a positive close quarters experience.

    Dark Squall Thanks this.

Will do. They're supposed to call today to alert me of the next load assignment and of when/where my CQT will take place.
