Canadian good and bad trucking companies

Hey guys and gals,

I am not a trucker I'm actually a freight specialist for my company and we are looking to expand our carrier list. Can any of you advise of any companies other than the following that are already in use:

APEX
TST
Manitoulin
Western Canada Express
QuikX
Clarke
Trappers
Purolator

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Should state that we are Winnipeg based as well but ship all across Canada

Just Curious but was'nt New Hope paying better than EBD?.in looking @
both companies it seemed like the pay @ New Hope was better but less
miles in comparison to EBD where it was the opposite...more miles for
less pay?.

 

Does anyone know anything about CAT in mississauga? They seem to have nice trucks and they are all over Laredo TX.

 

Anyone have any info about Westcan? I see they have a novice training program etc. for new drivers

 

Westcan was recently bought my another company based in the US. I don't know if their hiring has been frozen, or if it's business as usual. I would contact them directly to find out.
