God forbid you don't check Facebook or your email every two minutes. Might miss something important.

 

Its no different than having a holo HUD in a Vette or other vehicle. I'm with the group defending the tech. Much safer. If someone were to be checking FB with it while driving I'd much rather them at least looking forward or what not and not looking down.

Common sense is only a figment of your imagination. No one thinks the same anymore, everyone has their own opinion on how things should be done. Blame tech, surr, but bad driving habits are taught bot gained. Humans are subject to the power of persuasion. A new driver sees someone else using their phone while driving and they say, hey, I need to check my fb. He's doijg it so I'll do it too. I don't know of y'all recqplk but back in the 70's everyone was thinking there would be flying cars. Yeah whatever, the only thing they didn't think of is that we would have all this fancy tech to distract us, so yeah if they did I'd imagine they'd figure out a way to solve the problem before it became one, if only they knew what these distractions would cause. Well, from what I understand back then you didn't have to go to driving school to get yer license.like you do. Now. So yeah, parents be a bad example instead of beating it into their heads that distracted driving is a bad idea. So, you blame tech, I blame you old timers for not being able to comprehend today's tech enough to teach their kids better.

cuz google has auto pilots roaming the streets of cali now. (san francisco) no driver needed. and someone else is working an a auto pilot taxi. that's expected to be testing in the next couple of years.
